THINGS TO DO:

Best place to walk your dog on a Sunday afternoon, the Swan River Nature Trail.

Take your dogs for a “swimming treat” at Wayfarer State Park…if they love kids they will love this spot!

Best lake fishing spot, just off of Yenne Point by Woods Bay.

4th of July Parade

For that winter wonderland mental postcard, see the town after the Bigfork Elves after decorating for Christmas…ahhhh small town life!

MOST CREATIVE EVENT:

The
 Bigfork Festival of Art ~ the town is filled to the brim with artist booths showing off their wares.  A great time to catch up with friends because everyone you know is there!  Stop by the "Island Noodles" booth for a bite to eat.

O
r the annual Whitewater Festival in which kayakers from all over come to compete on the Wild Mile slalom course. This is a class 5 event…..ambulance is at the bottom of the course!

BEST BOAT TRIP ON THE FLATHEAD:

Run south along the east shore looking at fantastic homes all the way to Yellow Bay to get dinner at Many Springs on the waterfront. Tie up on very nice docks. Reservations recommended! 

BEST PLACE TO CATCH UP ON ALL THE SMALL TOWN GOSSIP: 

Harvest Foods (previously known as the IGA). You will run into everyone you know! 

PRETTIEST GOLF COURSE IN THE VALLEY:

Eagle Bend, of course! Especially, the Lake Nine course along the Flathead River. Especially holes 6 and 7.

Either Crane Mountain (a local hot-spot) or Piper Creek just south of Swan Lake!

BEST HIKING: 

Jewel Basin! and Glacier National Park!

BEST NIGHTLIFE: 

Garden Bar has local bands playing most every weekend. You will love the open air bar and seating around back. A real western bar!

Try parasailing from the Marina Cay Resort.


BEST ALL ROUND FAMILY FUN:  

Buy inner tubes from the Ferndale Market and float the Swan River. Don’t forget sunscreen! 

FEELING ROMANTIC? 

Make reservations aboard the Questa and have wine and cheese aboard a sail boat on Flathead Lake.
